It is SO much fun to teach this age group because they are fast and full of energy, their imagination is wild, and they LOVE playing and moving—the perfect audience for a children yoga class!

They have Infinite amount of energy, but instead of suppressing it, use it! Make the class very active. It is hard for them to sit quietly or to stay in one pose for a long time, so you will need to let each pose and game flow, one into the other. Don’t hesitate too long between exercises!

Children are born with faith. They believe in everything that is told of them and they do it with their whole hearts. Teaching your toddler and preschoolers to pray at an early age can be one of the easiest things because of this natural faith that can become quite obvious during Holy Days and other such holidays where faith is required to believe in childhood stories.

When a child of any age hears their parents talking to the God they believe in for themselves, it is already instilled in the child that simple talking is how we pray.

Some kids move up to the harder models very quickly, and they have an amazing capacity to remember the designs as well, so give them heaps of paper, and let them go wild!
